Glasgow Dentists  - Interdental Brushing

The following is the procedure to use Interdental brushes:

Always select appropriate sized Interdental brush. One should remember not to force the brush between the teeth. For the interdental space of front teeth one should use a finer brush, insert the brush head and move back-and-forth and apply twisting motions to remove plaque and food debris. Repeat these procedures several times until you are satisfied that the space is clean.  For interdental space near the back of the mouth, a large headed brush should be used. Bend the head of Interdental brush into a "banana" curve, to make the interdental brushing more effective moreover by bending you can locate and clean these spaces more effectively.  Rinse the brush so as to use it again. When bristles become worn out then replace the brush head.
